ANALYSIS OF THE INFLUENCE OF SENTS ON THE FUNCTIONAL STATE OF HUMANS

Abstract:

The article deals with the influence of different odors on the physical and functional state of a person. Odors of odorous substances cause quite significant physiological changes in the human body. They change performance, muscle strength, gas exchange, rhythms of vision, breath and pulse quality, etc. According to modern data, odorant molecules absorb and emit waves of length from 1 to 100 microns, and the human body at normal temperature absorbs and emits waves of length from 4 to 200 microns, this explaining the effect of odors on humans. Therefore, it is advisable to analyze the effect of different odors on the autonomic and central nervous systems. Oriental, citrus and woody perfumes, as well as vanilla, belladonna and spoiled meat, were used as samples. The duration of each study is determined by the extrema points. 30 volunteers had participated in the experiment. The probability of the results is estimated with a probability of 90% with a significance level of 0.1. The study of the influence of oriental perfumes revealed that this class of perfume causes these people an annoying reaction. Data indicate that women are more responsive to this fragrance, and men, in the main, remain "indifferent." Citrus scents do not cause an irritating effect. It has been shown that belladonna causes a drowsy reaction for 5 s. the smell of spoiled meat caused a dizzying sensation in all of those surveyed for 15 s. The differences in the perception of the same odor in the sample of men and women were detected, as well as different dynamics in the perception of aromas, harsh and unpleasant odors. The parameters of the functional state of the organism are analyzed from time to time by inhalation of a certain odor. It is determined that the reaction of the body has three stages. On the basis of which a mathematical model of the process of identification of the functional state was created, reflecting both "normal" and "pathological" changes in the functional systems of the organism.
