DEVELOPMENT OF A LANZET DEVICE FOR A LOW COST GLUCOMETER

Abstract:

According to the WHO, diabetes ranks seventh among the world´s mortality rates. The aim of the work is to develop a low-cost lancet device. To achieve this goal, a literature analysis of existing blood sampling methods for glucose diagnosis was performed; the design of the lancet device was developed with the help of computer modeling; calculate the qualimetric characteristics of the device. To develop a lancet device that uses scarifiers, we will use the software package Compass 3D. Compass-3D is a universal program designed to create three-dimensional models and has become standard in enterprises of various industries. Technical equipment data from the company was used as a sample for the scarifier. We develop drawings of the automatic lancet device. The device consists of a holder of the groove of the scarifier which is fixed by a spring to the main body of the lancet. The lancet has two holes in which the pin fixes the position of the spring, and due to the position of the scarifier needle. When the pin is released, a spring is released, which can puncture the skin. 3d -modeling of the scarifier, springs, heads is carried out.
