COMPUTER SIMULATION OF BLOODLESS CUTTING OF LIVING TISSUES BY ELECTROSURGICAL CLIPS AND SCISSORS IN SURGERY

Abstract:

Hemostasis increases surgery time and blood loss. Bleeding impairs visibility and negatively affects cutting accuracy. Electrosurgical cutting and coagulating instruments are used for hemostasis. Bipolar scissors are one of the main tools in electrosurgery. The cutting processes of the biological tissue are studied insufficiently. Therefore, there is a need to create a model of electrosurgical scissors and conduct mechanical, electrical and thermal studies, as well as analyses for non-stickiness and adhesion of electrodes with biological tissue.
