Abstract:

An important component of prosthetics of the lower limbs is the final adjustment of the installed prosthesis. Adjustment is performed by the prosthetist physician during the placement of the prosthesis to the patient. At the moment, the adjustment system developed by Otto Bock is used to adjust the prosthesis. For today in all prostheses of the lower extremities for adjustment the so-called adjustment pyramid is used. The pyramid makes it possible to adjust the prosthetic modules along the two axes X and Y. But, in complex cases of prosthetics, in the case of complex injuries, this type of adjustment does not allow achieving the most natural pattern of walking.
